Who shot donald trump in Pennsylvania

The incident occurred during a rally in Pennsylvania, where Trump was shot at, prompting Secret Service agents to swiftly escort him off the stage and into a waiting vehicle. Trump has since returned to his home in New Jersey.
The FBI is treating the shooting as an assassination attempt. On his Truth Social network, Trump stated that a bullet grazed the “upper part” of his right ear. His spokesperson previously mentioned he was receiving treatment at a local medical center.

“I immediately knew something was wrong when I heard a whizzing sound, followed by the shots, and then felt the bullet tearing through the skin,” Trump wrote. “There was significant bleeding, and I quickly understood what was happening.”

Blood was visible on Trump’s ear and face as he was hurried away by protection officers.

The FBI confirmed that the investigation into the incident is “active and ongoing.”

Pennsylvania police have assured that there are no further threats related to the shooting.

The suspect, Crooks, was shot dead at the scene by US Secret Service officers, according to agency spokesperson Anthony Guglielmi. Additionally, one bystander was killed, and two others were critically injured during the incident. Officials later disclosed that all three victims were male.

Law enforcement sources informed CBS News, the BBC’s US partner, that Crooks had been armed with a rifle and had fired from an elevated position a few hundred meters away from the venue.
