Estimate Meta Ads impressions, clicks and conversions
Plan Facebook and Instagram ad scenarios from budget, CPM, CTR, conversion rate and order value.
Scenario: Budget and CPM estimate impressions; CTR estimates clicks; conversion rate estimates conversions.
How to use the Meta Ads calculator
Enter budget, CPM, CTR, conversion rate and average order value. The calculator estimates impressions, clicks, conversions, CPA, revenue and ROAS for a Facebook or Instagram advertising scenario.
Meta Ads planning formulas
Impressions = Budget / CPM x 1,000. Clicks = Impressions x CTR. Conversions = Clicks x conversion rate. Revenue = Conversions x average order value.
Example: $3,000 budget at $8 CPM
A $3,000 budget at an $8 CPM estimates 375,000 impressions. At 1.5% CTR that is about 5,625 clicks; at a 3% conversion rate it is about 169 conversions.
