Video : Iceland volcano erupts

The Icelandic Tourist Board reported in an email to CNN on Tuesday that the volcanic eruption on Reykjanes Peninsula in Iceland is emitting “significant” amounts of toxic gases.

Fortunately, there is no anticipated impact on populated areas or essential infrastructure in the upcoming days. The Icelandic Tourist Board stated that there are no additional evacuation plans at this point. Moreover, there is currently no expectation that the lava flow will reach any portion of Grindavik town or its nearby infrastructure, as per the information provided by the Icelandic Tourist Board.
