Bigtech Tunisia 2024
The Bigtech Tunisia 2024 event, aimed at repositioning Tunisia as a technological hub in Africa, will take place from June 26 to 29, 2024, at the Kram Exhibition Park, announced Skander Haddar, founder and CEO of TPM.
Tunis will be at the heart of technological innovation during this first Tunisian digital summit, Bigtech Tunisia 2024. This major event will showcase new technologies, artificial intelligence, and big data—crucial domains for the future of nations. Bigtech Tunisia 2024 will host 300 exhibitors, 150 large companies, and around 20,000 Tunisian and international participants. The event will feature 30 workshops, panels, and keynotes on critical themes like AI and digital transformation.
Bigtech Tunisia 2024 will encompass five co-located events at the Kram Exhibition Park:
- 8th Edition of Tunisia Digital Summit (TDS)
- 3rd Edition of Afric’Up: African Startups Summit
- 2nd Edition of Job Fair: Talent Recruitment
- 1st Edition of Developer Days: Engineers and Developers Community
- 1st Edition of GEEC: eSport and Gaming Community
Skander Haddar explains that the goal is to create a regional platform for Tunisian technological skills, attracting investors and startups. The event aims to promote a robust technological ecosystem in Tunisia, drawing in talents and international funding. Haddar emphasizes the importance of a well-organized and media-prominent event to attract investors and strengthen Tunisia’s position on the global technological stage.
Opportunities for Tunisian Startups With around 1,000 labeled startups, including a hundred operating internationally, Tunisia is a fertile ground for innovation. Bigtech will offer a unique opportunity for Tunisian startups to connect with investors and internationalize, while creating local added value.
Focus on Artificial Intelligence Artificial intelligence will be a major focus of Bigtech, with a strategic collaboration with the “Tunisian AI Society” (TAIS). Tunisian and international experts will share their knowledge and discuss advancements in AI, highlighting Tunisia’s potential in this field.
