Rwanda, a central African country, declared the outbreak last Friday. By the next day, six deaths were reported, with the toll now reaching eight. Health officials have identified around 300 individuals who came into contact with confirmed cases. Some of these contacts have been placed in isolation facilities as a precautionary measure.
