Leaked HMP wandsworth UK prison guard video

Police have launched an investigation following the appearance of a video allegedly showing a female prison guard engaging in sexual activity with an inmate at HMP Wandsworth.

 

 

The video, purportedly filmed within the prison, depicts a woman in uniform initially performing a sex act on an unidentified prisoner. It progresses to show the guard having sex with the inmate while another prisoner records the incident on his phone.

The video, set in a cluttered cell with a TV and heaps of clothes, features the filmer commenting, “Guys, we’ve made history, this is what I’m telling you,” while smoking. The guard’s radio can be heard crackling with unaware colleagues’ voices.

At one point, someone attempts to enter the cell but is deterred by the filmer asking for a moment. He then urges the activity to continue, stating, “This is how we roll in Wandsworth.”

The footage has since gone viral on social media, prompting a police investigation. A Prison Service spokesman stated that staff corruption is not tolerated and confirmed that the former prison officer involved has been reported to the police.

A Met Police spokesperson informed that an investigation was initiated on June 28 after officers were alerted to the video. A woman was arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office and taken into custody. Enquiries are ongoing, with close coordination with the Ministry of Justice.
