A suspect in a triple homicide in Custer County, Colorado, was arrested by New Mexico State Police after a 25-hour investigation, authorities announced Tuesday afternoon.
Three people were killed and one seriously injured in a shooting over a property dispute near the town of Westcliff on Monday afternoon.
At a news conference Tuesday afternoon, Custer County Sheriff Rich Smith said Clark was arrested shortly after 2:44:45 p.m.
Smith said he was taken into custody without incident and no one was injured during the arrest.
Last Tuesday, Clark’s girlfriend was traveling with him in his truck.
They were stopped in New Mexico by a task force of state and federal law enforcement officers.
